Features
- 4-station valve pack
- 3x 16L Compensators
- Integrated flowmeter
- Start/stop valve
- VJU Software integration
The backpack system is a compact subsea module designed for ROV-based valve and tooling operations. It includes a 4-station valve pack, 3x 16L Compensators, Dirty Work Pack (DWP), flowmeter, start/stop valve, and a dedicated valve pack (DWP-VC) for displacement control.
The DWP is powered from the ROV main hydraulic system and requires high pressure and flow. A start/stop valve controls operation and must be continuously pressurized (minimum 20 bar) to remain open. As there is no upstream flow control, the supply flow must not exceed 167 L/min to avoid damage. The system also features dedicated return ports for drain and return from a Ø55 3-port valve stab. The flowmeter and DWP-VC are integrated into the ROV control system and visible in software.
