Compact Chop Saw is a subsea cutting tool for use in subsea structure removal or repair operations. It has been developed to cut pipelines, stud bolts, chains, wire ropes, jackets, guideposts, drill strings and tubing/structures.
The Chop Saw comes with clamp-on functions used to keep the tool in rigid position during cutting. A flow control valve is used to adjust cutting speed on both feed cylinder and rotation of the cutting blade. In order to protect the cutting disc a pressure relief valve in installed on feed cylinder.
