Compact Chop Saw is a subsea cutting tool for use in subsea structure removal or repair operations.
It has been developed to cut pipelines, stud bolts, chains, wire rops, jackets, guide posts, drill strings and tubing/structures. The Chop Saw comes with clamp-on functions used to keep the tool in ridget position during cutting. A flow control valve is used to adjust cutting speed on both feed cylinder and rotation of the cutting blade. In order to protect the cutting disc a pressure relief valve in installed on feed cylinder.
