The Guidepost Extension basket is used for safely lowering up to 8x Guideposts to the seabed for installation on subsea assets, as well as retrieving them back to the surface. It’s designed to reduce operation time and amount of lifts carried out offshore.
By removing the Guidepost rack, the basket is quickly transformed into a standard 7Te Center Pole Basket – Suitable for ROV tooling & intervention work.
It is certified for lifting in accordance with DNVGL-ST-E273 R60 and equipped with forklift pockets for easy maneuvering.
The Guidepost rack is adjustable and can be set to a height of either 2540mm or 1867mm. This makes the basket suitable for guideposts between 2- and 5-meters length.
