Relief Valve Block are designed for crash protection for the manipulators. If the arm is subjected to forces exceeding its design limits, the valves will open and release hydraulic oil back to the tank.
The Relief Valve Block is equipped with 6 Pre-adjusted valves and are designed to fit onto the Atlas Manipulator between the hydraulic bulkhead and manipulator base.
