The MIDAS SVX2 is a combined SVP and CTD instrument designed to deliver highly accurate sound velocity, conductivity, temperature and pressure measurements in a single integrated unit. Developed for demanding hydrographic and oceanographic applications, the system combines synchronised sampling technology with Valeport’s digital time-of-flight sound velocity sensor for high-quality profiling data.
Its titanium housing and deepwater rating make the instrument suitable for offshore survey and subsea environmental monitoring operations.
